We dropped in a couple of weeks back, had a fantastic Sunday Roast so booked to return with family and had an even better time. Everybody was full, the food was amazing and stayed hot until it was finished ... Brilliant service, a great warm welcome and 'a proper village pub atmosphere'. Highly recommended, even for lone diners. Make sure you book ahead.

A real pub and a welcome visit after a long walk. We stopped in for a midweek lunch and found the place fairly busy. The staff were friendly and helpful, taking our order at the bar and then bringing our food to the table. Good food and a good atmosphere.
